Lia Zito has been a performer and teacher of violin and Irish fiddle music
for 12 years. Her first CD will be released this fall.

Instruments and styles: In addition to Irish music, I teach classical violin and basic fiddling from which you can progress to any style. I also teach pennywhistle, an easy and inexpensive instrument for learning Irish music.

Teaching Method: I plan lessons individually according to your goals, whether it be to become a master fiddler or just master the basics. Younger students are taught the reading and ear-training skills to enjoy both school orchestra and traditional sessions.

Performing: I am available to play special events either as a soloist or with accompaniment. I have a repertoire of very stately music suitable for weddings and dinners, or I can provide rousing entertainment for parties and receptions.
